PowerReviews Syndication Only Product Description

This Product Description outlines the application functionality provided by the PowerReviews Syndication Only content solution (“PwR Syndication Only”). This document forms part of the Agreement to provide Client with Syndication capabilities. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have the definitions assigned to them in the Master Services Agreement and any links to the PowerReviews website included in this Product Description.

1.Capabilities

PwR Syndication Only enables Client to share its user-generated content (UGC) with PowerReviews to syndicate across the PowerReviews syndication network.

Key Features:

  1. PwR Syndication Only enables Client to extend the reach of its consumer reviews by allowing for the distribution of user-generated content to third-party retailers and other online channels where potential end users may be researching products or making purchasing decisions.
  2. Expanded Reach: By syndicating review content, the Client can increase the impact of a single review or piece of content. This ensures maximum sales lift, even across retailer sites.
  3. Customization and Control: Client has control over the destinations (i.e. retailers) where their reviews are displayed. This can ensure content is only shared to authorized resellers.

Implementation

The implementation team will provide support to Client during the implementation phase of its PwR Syndication Only subscription. This support will be available from kickoff, through the implementation service end date listed on the Order Form. If no specific start and end dates are included, support will be available for 30 days following the project kickoff email.

Scope of Implementation Services:

  1. Kickoff: Company will initiate contact via email (Jira Project) with Client within 30 days of contract signature to align on timelines and requirements.
  2. Status Call: Company will coordinate, at the Client’s request, one 30-minute call to discuss any questions regarding the file(s) requirements.
  3. Implementation Support: Company will provide support to Client in implementing the solutions outlined below, while strictly adhering to PowerReviews’ best practices. Support is available during normal business hours and does not extend to after-hours support.
  4. Product Data Import: Company will assist the Client in importing their product data into the new system. Client is responsible for providing Company with the necessary data files, following the specified format outlined here. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure all formatting and data manipulation is completed to provide clean, usable data. Once the Client provides the files in the specified format, the Company will process and ingest them.
  5. Ratings & Reviews Content Import: Company will assist the Client in importing their reviews into the new system. The Client is responsible for providing the Company with the necessary data files, following the specified format outlined here. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure all formatting and data manipulation is completed to provide clean, usable data. Once the Client provides the files in the specified format, the Company will process and ingest them. The Company reserves the right to moderate all content to ensure it meets its moderation and authenticity guidelines.
  6. PwR Syndication Only Implementation:
    1. Account Setup and Configuration: Set up a Client account on Company’s PwR Syndication Only Platform and configure the Syndication features. This involves providing basic information including Client website URL, product catalog, and brand logo.
    2. Automated Content Mapping: Company will use product data shared by Client to identify potential brand and product matches automatically. The Client must ensure all required fields are included in their product feed file.
    3. Compliance and Quality Assurance: The Company will ensure compliance with syndication channel guidelines, as well as any legal and regulatory requirements and/or guidelines related to online reviews and consumer protection. The Company will regularly review and moderate syndicated review content to maintain quality and integrity.
  7. Post-launch: After all required data files have been imported, if needed, a syndication support request will be submitted on behalf of the Client for further enablement.
  8. Implementation Handoff: The Client will receive all relevant contact details for the post-implementation support team from the Company via email within 30 days of go-live.

Client Obligations

Pre-Implementation:

  1. The Company will initiate communication via email within the Jira Project within 30 days of contract signature. The Client is expected to respond promptly to all requests for files, input, or any information necessary to enable PwR Syndication Only.

During Implementation:

  1. Provide necessary data files for Ratings & Reviews content import, following specified formats outlined by the Company here, according to the scope of the project.
  2. Ensure all provided data files are clean, accurate, and formatted correctly for ingestion by the Company.
  3. Ensure product data, particularly UPC/EAN/GTIN, is clean and accurate for the Syndication solution to enable auto-matching. Client to provide a mapping file if manual matching is required.
  4. Address any feedback or issues communicated by the Company during the Pre- launch Quality Assurance phase, and implement necessary changes promptly.
  5. The Client will provide necessary access to their systems and computing environment for pre-production and production phases, ensuring appropriate connectivity for testing purposes.

Post-Implementation:

  1. After all required data files have been imported, if needed, a syndication support request will be submitted on behalf of the client for further enablement. The Client is responsible for responding promptly to requests for additional information from the Syndication team.

Handoff Phase:

  1. The Client will receive all relevant contact details for the post-implementation support team from the Company via email within 30 days of go-live.

Company Obligations

Pre-Implementation:

  1. Coordinate a Kickoff Call with the Client within 30 days of contract signature to align on objectives, timelines, and requirements.
  2. Coordinate one 30-minute call, at the Client’s request, to discuss questions regarding the file(s) requirements.
  3. Provide comprehensive support to the Client in implementing the specified solutions, adhering strictly to PowerReviews’ best practices.
  4. Assist the Client in importing existing reviews and product data into the new system to ensure data continuity, processing and ingesting provided data files according to specified formats, according to the scope of the project.
    1. The import will include one review file per locale/site prior to go-live.

  5. Collaborate with the Client to enable the Syndication solution, leveraging product data provided by the Client for auto-matching and providing manual matching support if needed, according to the scope of the project.

Implementation and Post-Implementation:

  1. Review all data provided by the Client to ensure it meets PowerReviews’ requirements and best practices.
  2. Share feedback resulting from testing with the Client for necessary changes and improvements.
  3. Communicate any feedback or issues identified during the post-launch phase to the Client for necessary actions.
  4. Conduct follow-up reviews and assessments upon completion of Client-initiated changes.
  5. Provide Client with all relevant contact details for the post-implementation support team from Company via email within 30 days of go-live.
