This Product Description describes the functionality and usage requirements to provide Client with ContentSync. This Product Description forms part of the Contract to provide Client with ContentSync. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have the definitions assigned to them in the 1WorldSync General Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

ContentSync allows Client to transmit product data and content to recipients using web-based APIs. As APIs become more commonplace, some recipients may require this method of transmission in order to exchange product information. While ContentSync utilizes standard security protocols for Internet-based transmissions, they occur outside of the GDSN and may use third-party infrastructure components, including cloud-based servers. Please note that you may not be able to send your product information to such organizations without using an API-based method like ContentSync.

By publishing Client’s product data and content to recipients using ContentSync, Client is electing to use this method of transmission and these infrastructure components on behalf of Client. If you do not wish to do this, you should not use ContentSync to publish Client’s data/content to those recipients.
