1. Overview

1WorldSync’s DataSource offering enables the Client to receive DataSource Content from 1WorldSync in 1WorldSync’s proprietary Product Data Model (“DataSource PDM”) format, with a license for the Client to use the DataSource Content internally, on its website(s), and/or elsewhere, based on the Permitted Usage(s) of the Client’s Subscription Configuration, throughout the duration of the Agreement. A Static License for continued use of the DataSource Content delivered during the term of this Agreement may be available to purchase separately upon termination of this Agreement.

1WorldSync’s DataSource offering consists of a core subscription, and may also include optional subscription add-ons, one (1) time setups, and recurring maintenance options.

2. DataSource Subscription Levels

1WorldSync’s DataSource Subscription is offered at two (2) levels: Standard and Premium.

  • The Standard subscription level includes delivery of DataSource Content.
  • The Premium subscription level includes DataSource Content plus a full set of searchable attributes (where available).

Based on the Client’s Subscription Configuration, 1WorldSync will deliver Standard or Premium level content accordingly.

For the duration of the Client’s DataSource subscription, 1WorldSync will make available to the Client all changes, modifications, and updates to the DataSource Content as it becomes available within the 1WorldSync DataSource database.

3. DataSource Subscription Options

DataSource Content will be delivered to the Client based on either a “push” or “pull” methodology, as listed in the Service Details section of the Order Form.

Push Subscriptions

DataSource Content will be delivered to the Client for a set number of Stocked SKUs, for one or more suppliers, manufacturers, or product categories, in one or more markets, in one or more languages, with optional additional information (such as MSRP where available), based on the Client’s DataSource Subscription Configuration.

Push subscription types:

  • Supplier Based (1 supplier; includes supplier part # metamap)
  • Supplier Based (all suppliers; includes all supplier part # meta mapping)
  • Category Based (for up to 30 categories or manufacturers)
  • Manufacturer Based (for up to 30 categories or manufacturers)
  • Full Market Based (all Stocked SKUs 1WorldSync has available for the market)

Note: Suppliers, Categories, and Manufacturers cannot be swapped during the term of the Agreement without formally amending the Subscription Configuration. Additional fees may apply.

Pull Subscriptions

DataSource Content will be delivered to the Client for a set number of products Client has requested via submission of its Client Catalog, in one or more markets, in one or more languages, with optional subscription add-ons, depending upon the Client’s Subscription Configuration.

Pull subscription types:

  • Catalog Based (up to 10K Stocked SKUs/Non-Stocked SKUs for Basic, up to 15K Stocked SKUs/Non-Stocked SKUs for Premium; daily bandwidth 40 Non-Stocked SKUs per day)
  • Restricted Catalog Based (unlimited Stocked SKUs)
  • Niche Catalog Based (up to 4.5K Stocked SKUs/Non-Stocked SKUs; daily bandwidth 15 Non-Stocked SKUs per day)

Additional Language(s)
1WorldSync’s DataSource Subscription includes delivery of DataSource Content to the Client in the 1WorldSync’s default language for the market(s) covered under the Client’s Subscription Configuration. Delivery of DataSource Content in additional languages for the same market(s) (where available) can be included as part of the Client’s DataSource Subscription Configuration, as listed in the Service Details section of the Order Form. Example: DataSource Content for a US market subscription can be delivered in both US English and Spanish.

Permitted Use
Basic level DataSource Subscriptions include a usage license for one (1) internal system, and one (1) customer facing system (website or customer portal) for the DataSource Content delivered to the Client during the Client’s active subscription.

Premium level DataSource Subscriptions include a usage license for up to four (4) internal systems and/or customer facing systems (website or customer portal) for the DataSource Content delivered to the Client during the Client’s active subscription.

Additional Permitted Usage can be included as part of the Client’s DataSource Subscription Configuration, as listed in the Service Details section of the Order Form.

Additional Supplier Catalog w/ Supplier Part# Metamap
For Supplier based DataSource Subscriptions, DataSource Content for additional supplier catalogs within the same market can be included as part of the Client’s DataSource Subscription Configuration, as listed in the Service Details section of the Order Form.

Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)
For certain markets where 1WorldSync has Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”) available for the SKU, 1WorldSync can deliver MSRP as part of the DataSource Content. MSRP can be included as part of the Client’s DataSource Subscription Configuration, as listed in the Service Details section of the Order Form.

4. DataSource Content Delivery

Client has the option to choose one of the following standard delivery methods to receive DataSource Content as part of its DataSource subscription.

  • Download.zip (activated by default) containing the necessary text based files to create and maintain a database of DataSource Content.
  • Standard XML (must be specified in the Service Details section of the Order Form and options confirmed upon account setup)
  • Standard XML + Download.zip
  • Datasource Cloud API
  • DataSource Cloud API + Download.zip (for DataSource Website Search/Navigation Content and Compatible Accessories*)

*Compatible Accessories are only available when a DataSource Subscription – Compatible Accessories Add On service is purchased.

Client must choose a method of delivery upon execution of the Agreement, however, Client may request to switch to another standard delivery method during its active subscription term without additional cost.

1WorldSync will deliver a full file of DataSource Content to the Client upon execution of an Agreement for a new DataSource Subscription or a DataSource Subscription upgrade, and then deliver DataSource Content for new products and product content updates on an incremental basis, according to the Client’s desired cadence, as available from 1WorldSync.

For Clients with Push DataSource Subscriptions, DataSource Content will be provided based on 1WorldSync’s DataSource Product IDs.

For Clients with Pull DataSource Subscriptions, DataSource Content will be provided based on the Client’s product IDs submitted to 1WorldSync in its Product Catalog File.

Units of Measure
Units of measure elements within the DataSource Content will be delivered in either metric or imperial format depending on the norm for the market(s) that are part of the Client’s DataSource Subscription Configuration.

Language Coding Format
By default, DataSource Content will be delivered in Windows encoded format. DataSource Content may be delivered in UTF-8 or UTF-16 format if desired and included in Client’s DataSource Subscription Configuration.

5. DataSource Subscription Add Ons

Clients can purchase additional data sets and/or increase their Stocked/Non-Stocked SKUs allowance, as separate add on services.

DataSource Subscription – Extended Specs Add On
In addition to the DataSource Content delivered under the Client’s DataSource Subscription, 1WorldSync will provide Client a set of related tables containing all available technical characteristics of the products.

DataSource Subscription – Compatible Accessories Add On
In addition to the DataSource Content delivered under the Client’s DataSource Subscription, 1WorldSync can provide compatible accessories information to the Client as part of its DataSource Subscription – Compatible Accessories Add On service.

There are four (4) options available for this add on service:

  1. Mapping of OEM Related Products.
  2. Mapping of OEM Related Products and 3rd Party Related Products.
  3. Compatibility rules for manufacturer’s compatible accessories to its product lines and/or models, based on 1WorldSync’s PDM mapping (aka: OEM compatibility rules).
  4. Compatibility rules for manufacturer’s compatible accessories plus third party compatible accessories to the manufacturer’s product lines and/or models, based on DataSource PDM mapping (aka: OEM + 3rd party compatibility rules).

For all of these options, 1WorldSync will provide Client a set of related tables containing compatibility links.

Compatibility rules are available only for accessories designed or marketed specifically for use with compatible product lines/models, as opposed to generic accessories. NOTE: The mapping will be provided based on 1WorldSync’s DataSource Product IDs, based on DataSource PDM mapping regardless of whether the Client’s DataSource Subscription is push or pull type.

DataSource Subscription – Meta-mapping Add On
Available for Clients with push DataSource Subscriptions only, in addition to the Main Specifications provided as part of the DataSource Content delivered under the Client’s DataSource Subscription, 1WorldSync will provide Client a data set of one or more supplier part number (where available), when a DataSource Subscription – Meta-mapping Add On service is purchased.

DataSource – Content Creation and Delivery
Clients with pull DataSource Subscriptions can increase the amount of Stocked SKUs/Non-Stocked SKUs associated with their DataSource Subscription by purchasing an additional lot of StockedSKUs/Non-Stocked SKUs under 1WorldSync’s DataSource – Content Creation and Delivery service offering.

DataSource Subscription – UNSPSC Classification Add On
In addition to the DataSource Content delivered under the Client’s DataSource Subscription, 1WorldSync will provide Client UNSPSC commodity code and name where available for the SKUs, when a DataSource Subscription – UNSPSC Classification Add On service is purchased.

Note: By default, 1WorldSync will provide the latest version of the UNSPSC commodity code and description, unless otherwise specified in the Special Terms section of the Order Form.

DataSource Subscription – Export Information Add On
In addition to the Main Specifications provided as part of the DataSource Content delivered under the Client’s DataSource Subscription, 1WorldSync will provide Client Export/Import Classification information (where available), when a DataSource Subscription – Export Information Add On service is purchased.

Export/Import classifications available:

  • ECCN
  • EU ECCN
  • HTS
  • UK Trade Tariff

Note: By default, 1WorldSync will provide the latest version of the Export/Import classification chosen, unless otherwise specified in the Special Terms section of the Order Form.

DataSource Subscription – Partial Content Delivery Add On
1WorldSync will deliver partially built out DataSource Content to Client when Client has purchased the DataSource Subscription – Partial Content Delivery Add On.

DataSource Subscription – PIM Add On
1WorldSync will provide a full attribute data feed that includes all attributes delivered as they were initially captured by 1WorldSync. The data feed is augmented with additional information that will help the Client interpret the delivered attribution. This option is only available to customers with a DataSource Premium Subscription.

PIM Type: Akeneo
1WorldSync will maintain a PIM Connector service (the “Service”) that regularly synchronizes with the Client Akeneo system (the “Akeneo Instance”).

  1. The Service updates the Akeneo Instance with new or updated product content. This service runs once a day during night hours.
  2. The Service will also send to 1WorldSync content creation requests for new products having the necessary information (i.e. the Client sku identifier, manufacturer/brand, part number, etc.). This additional service is only available for Clients with pull DataSource Subscriptions and runs several times during business hours.
  3. The client acknowledges that:
    1. Maintenance operations by 1WorldSync may cause product content updates or product request collection to occur outside the usual hours.
    2. Insufficient, restricted, or otherwise degraded access to the Akeneo Instance may incur additional charges, and may cause interruptions to the product request collection and content delivery.
    3. Any new feature or feature update requested by the Client will be available to all other 1WorldSync customers.
    4. During normal operation the Service creates, modifies and deletes a high number of PIM Entities; it is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that any system that depends on the Akeneo Instance, as well as the Akeneo Instance itself, handles the absence of (or modifications to) these entities gracefully.
  4. While the Service supports delivery of any number of DataSource languages to the Client provided list of Akeneo channels, it does not support multiple language/channel combinations.
  5. The Service will only be offered to supported PIM providers on supported versions as defined in the table below:

PIM Type: Stibo
The 1WorldSync Stibo subscription delivers DataSource content as XML batches that can be loaded into a Stibo STEP PIM instance. Each file is self-sufficient as it defines the full set of localized resources (model, assets, product links etc.) that each product in a batch references.

DataSource Subscription – PIM Delivery Maintenance Subscription
This subscription can only be activated with the PIM Add On.

DataSource Subscription – Product Catalog Mapping Add On
The Product Catalog Mapping tool’s primary purpose is to enable the mapping of Client’s Catalog(s) of SKUs to 1WorldSync Stocked SKUs. In addition, the Product Catalog Mapping provides clients with the capabilities for product filtering, coverage reports and the ability to match Client SKUs that are available in 1WorldSync Catalog to the Client’s account. From the tool the Client can request new SKUs for production based on the Client’s current subscription. 1WorldSync will provide access to the Product Catalog Mapping tool via the DataSource Client Portal.

6. DataSource Client Portal

Upon activation of the Service(s), Client will be given access to the 1WorldSync’s DataSource Client Portal (aka: the Extranet). Client may access technical and support information including without limitation: FAQ’s, technical information, help information, etc.; view list of DataSource Content available, production status, delivery information; and submit quality claims. Client credentials for access to the Extranet shall not be revealed to anyone other than the authorized user in which credentials have been provided to, and Client is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of its credentials.

7. ContentConnector Support

1WorldSync will make available to Client a Java based application that can be utilized by the Client to automate the data exchanges between 1WorldSync and the Client’s systems (“ContentConnector”). The ContentConnector can be used by the Client to create tables that align with the 1WorldSync DataSource schema on the Client’s database. Using these tables on the Client’s database, the Client can request and receive 1WorldSync DataSource Content. If the Content Connector does not meet the data integration requirements of the Client, the Client can engage with 1WorldSync for professional services, for an additional fee based on a defined scope of work.

8. Modification of the DataSource Content Delivery File Structure

1WorldSync’s PDM may evolve over time at 1WorldSync’s sole discretion and option. This evolution can result in modifications or changes to the contents of the structure of the treated files transmitted by 1WorldSync to Client. 1WorldSync will keep Client informed of its intention to modify the treated files and will provide Client with at least sixty (60) days advance notice of any such modification to enable Client to make the necessary modifications to its own internal systems to accept these modifications. If Client does not wish to modify its own internal systems, 1WorldSync undertakes to continue to furnish it, for a period of least six (6) months from the date of notice of intention to change, the treated files in the same format and structure as before the modification.

9. Support Levels

1WorldSync will make its Help Center and Silver Level Support available to Client to assist with setup and service use. Custom Training and/or enhanced level support (Gold level) can be purchased for an additional fee.

Silver

Includes:

  • Portal self service with dedicated support team
  • Up to 20 Support Case submissions per month, via the completion of a 1WS Support Form
  • Help Center availability including documentation & FAQ
  • Online webinar training for ContentCast, Datasource, PartnerAccess, Item Management Overview and Troubleshooting Using Item Management included with purchase of corresponding service
  • Telephone escalation procedures for serious system outages
  • Standard system reporting and production / consumption dashboard as applicable by service

Gold

Includes:

  • Assigned Customer Care Advocate
  • Monthly call with assigned Customer Care Advocate
  • Up to 30 Support Case submissions per month, via the completion of a 1WS Support Form
  • Help Center availability including documentation & FAQ
  • Online webinar training for ContentCast, Datasource, PartnerAccess, Item Management Overview and Troubleshooting Using Item Management included with purchase of corresponding service
  • Telephone escalation procedures for serious system outages
  • Standard system reporting and production / consumption dashboard as applicable by service

Platinum

Includes:

  • Assigned Customer Care Advocate
  • Biweekly calls with assigned Customer Care Advocate
  • Quarterly Business review with Customer Care Advocate
  • Up to 50 Support Case submissions per month, via the completion of a 1WS Support Form
  • Help center availability including documentation & FAQ
  • Online webinar training for ContentCast, Datasource, PartnerAccess, Item Management Overview and Troubleshooting Using Item Management included with purchase of corresponding service
  • Telephone escalation procedures for serious system outages
  • Standard system reporting and production / consumption dashboard as applicable by service

Enhanced Support Package (Silver to Gold upgrade)

*must be purchased in conjunction with one or more annual service subscriptions, and is an annual fee that can be used as applicable to Client’s unique service offering. Enhanced support package defaults to standard support if the upgrade is not renewed.

Includes:

  • Assigned 1WS Customer Care Advocate with up to 4 hours dedicated time per month
  • Monthly 1 hour call with assigned Customer Care Advocate
  • Up to 20 Support Cases per month, via the completion of a 1WS Support Form
  • Help Center availability including documentation & FAQ
  • Online webinar training for ContentCast, Datasource, PartnerAccess, Item Management Overview and Troubleshooting Using Item Management included with purchase of corresponding service

**Service upgrade is only available to silver customers who move from the support team to a dedicated Customer Care Advocate. Hourly time limits shall be observed and fulfilled in a reasonable manner that is meaningful to the customer.
