Associated Grocers, Inc. of Baton Rouge (AGBR) is committed to its goal of helping the independent grocers remain competitive.

AGBR is a wholesale distributor servicing over 200 independently owned and operated retail grocery stores spanning four states: Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and Alabama. AGBR is working with 1WorldSync as its data synchronization partner to enable its members to enjoy the benefits of the Global Data Synchronization Network™ (GDSN®).

Using the GDSN to enable our Retail Operations Support Centers enables our members to operate efficient, customer-focused outlets in the market places that they service throughout the country. AGBR is streamlining its internal systems and processes by fully integrating global data synchronization. The aim is to achieve the clean, accurate and complete product data and comply with universally supported GS1 system standards by synchronizing item information with our trading partners.
