Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) Initiative

HCA Healthcare has subscribed to 1WorldSync as our organization’s Data Pool provider to receive product attributes from manufacturers and suppliers.

In order to streamline the supply chain operations, effective immediately, HCA Healthcare’s supply chain is requiring all its vendors to engage and subscribe with a certified GDSN Data Pool to provide product attribute data. We believe that this is the most efficient path to accurate data management and an efficient supply chain. We need our suppliers to synchronize the specified item attributes as soon as possible. All required attributes are listed in our HCA Implementation Guide and Attribute Requirement documents (Located in the Key Documents section of this page).

*Important Note* We are asking as a minimum requirement to provide us a product image and the length, width, and height item dimensions for each unit of measure.

Benefits

This initiative will enable our supply chain to quickly and efficiently exchange valuable data that is accurate and compliant with universally supported GS1 system standards. This will help to drive:

  1. Improved efficiencies in warehouse and hospital environments
  2. Reduction in order, shipping, and product handling errors due to inaccurate product data

 

Please Take the Following Required Steps:

  1. If you are not a current subscriber of a GDSN certified data pool, get started by contacting 1WorldSync at:
  2. If you are a current GDSN subscriber, please complete these steps as soon as possible:
    • Review the HCA Implementation Guide on how to synchronize your item information with HCA
    • Complete and submit the HCA Trading Partner Form (On this page)
    • Begin synchronizing data with us as soon as possible to the HealthTrust GLN: 1100097191328
